Thailand

REE deposits in Thailand are classified into primary and secondary deposits (Charusiri et al., 2006). The major primary REE deposits include REE-bearing disseminated Sn granitoids and stockworks, REE-bearing Sn ± W pegmatites, REE-bearing Sn ± W quartz veins, and REE-bearing Sn skarns, and these granitoids are of the S-type affinity. The secondary REE deposits are associated with placer Sn deposits derived from granitic rocks by weathering ( Charusiri et al., 2006)
